Western’s Associate of Arts program provides up to 60 credits of general education courses, preparing you to enter as a junior at one of Western’s four- year transfer partners. In this program, you will gain knowledge and experiences in the arts that broadens perspectives, increases problem solving abilities, and develops communication skills. Choose courses that emphasize your individual educational goals. Topics include history and philosophy, social sciences, languages and literature, health and wellness, and performing arts. If you have a particular college or university in mind, you’ll want to check out how your credits will transfer before selecting courses.
